A good choice

Overall 
We stayed just one night traveling to Cebu. Great room with balcony overlooking the port.
Excellent room service at a reasonable cost, as was the room. Couldnt fault.
Would stay there again.

An excellent place

This is the only hotel I would like to stay everytime I come to Ormoc, it's an excellent place.
I come to ormoc every two years and it is the only hotel that I would like to stay. Meanly because all of the staffs there are very friendly and some of staffs now has became my friends.
Since I have been coming there for the last 15 years they all knew me and they always greated me with warmth welcoming, which made me feel so important.

A very nice hotel

A good clean room, nice comfortable beds, 2 of them, nice clean bath and shower, with hot water, quite.
Had to use stairs, no elevator, nice staff, good price for the night, next to the SuperCat Fast Boat dock.
I will stay there again in October 2009 when i go back.

Good Stopover

Overall 
The Don Felipe stands right beside the port at Ormoc. No need for transport. Walk. It is the tallest building, so you cannot lose it.
Its clean, the staff friendly and the bed comfortable.
There is a restaurant that serves acceptable food at a good price. Bar was shut as it was a Sunday!
As a stopover hotel you could not ask for more.

Clean and well maintained but loud disco bar

Many years i spend my life searching for a lover that will give me comfort. I finally found someone that will meet the requirements.
I stayed in Don Felipe Hotel, in Ormoc City, Philippines. I fined the hotel clean and well maintained.
But, i noticed that sounds from the disco bar is so loud and it annoys my friend. Hope that this will be addressed asap.

Great view of ocean

Very nice rooms, great view of the ocean, good restaurant food, hotel staff were friendly. Would stay there again without hesitation.
Supercat is within walking distance if you want to take a side trip to cebu.
Liked - ecomomical, great ocean view, everything within walking distance
Disliked - hotel is on beach, but the best sandy beach is about 40 minutes away by car

Hotel in Ormoc City

Ormoc is a little off the beaten path of big cities in the Philippines. Ormoc City though is the place to catch the Supercat Ferry from Leyte to Cebu.
If you are visting Ormoc and/or plan to take the Supercat ferry .. I recommend the Don Felipe Hotel. It's right next to the bus terminal and the Supercat Ferry pier is within viewing distance.
Hotel is clean, service is excellent, and rates are real reasonable.
Would I recommend this hotel to my best friend? absolutely!
