Shipping lines offer regular trips to the region's major ports of call. Travel to Cebu is comfortable by high speed hydrofoils: Waterjet from Baybay, Leyte and Supercat from Ormoc and Maasin. Outlying islands can be reached through pumpboats. Sulpicio has weekly ferry service from Manila, a 30-hour trip but very pleasant.
