A great base for our Medical Mission Trip

Our medical mission trip stayed here for 6 days on part of our medical mission trip.
We traveled to villages on the island of Samar each day.
The Jasmin Beach Resort was a great place to stay while we were there ... relaxing, good food, and great beach to swim/relax.

Just like a "virgin boracay"

Jasmin Beach Resort is approximately 52 kms and about an hour drive from Tacloban City. It is very accessible ..
It is a great place for a good rest, nice outlook on the beach, white sand, very quite, great food at a good price.
It is my 4th time to visit Jasmin. They never failed to impress us everytime we visit the place. By 7am we were there already together with the kids. They really enjoyed the rest of the day ..
We rented a floating cottage at the price of PHP 500.00 .. and PHP 10.00 entrance fee .. We had our breakfast there and by 8am we were all ready to swim.
Snorkling is also a fun activity when u visit there .. You can see different colors of fishes and colorful creatures living under the water ..
The floating cottage were pushed through a thick rope to the mid part of the sea where it's about 15ft deep ..
We also played beach volleyball regardless the heat of the sun .. ;p
We had pictures taken all over the beautiful sceneries .. =) It's just like a "virgin boracay" - anyone who visits there will surely look forward to come back .. =)!

Nice place, but .....

The Jasmin is for sure a nice place, but there it ends.
The personnel is unmotivated, unfriendly, and not helpful at all. The room did do not even have a chair! The television is old, and the reception is miserable.
There is no telephone, no room service, just nothing what should be expected for this high price for Samar.
The restaurant closes (advertised) at 22h00, but at 21h00 they already want you out!
Like said, the envirement is just wunderfull, but better rent somewere a cottage, there you will be better served, then in this resort, who is realy very much to expensive for what they offer.

Disliked: The personnel, the facilities
Would I recommend this hotel to my best friend? No way!
